I have an intense desire to use material I find around me to create with. I find it super satisfying to reclaim items that might be destined for the trash and instead transform them into something that transcends what it once was.
These earrings are built from many different cans and tins that have their label or decoration enameled onto the surface. Most are recycled from the trash, some are found at thrift stores and some are bought in grocery stores. Since I use collected material, all pieces are one of a kind but I often make several of the same style depending on how much I have of the particular tin. All findings are sterling silver unless otherwise noted in the details pop-up.
